Our Trainer has the experience and qualifications to ensure that Carer Workers have the right skills and qualifications to deliver Person Centred Care to clients meeting their social, cultural, emotional and individual health care needs ensuring best practice in return.
Our Trainer has first- hand experience, knowledge and skills and understanding of the training and development needs of Carer Workers, and ways of assisting them to be fully equipped to care for vulnerable adults with Dementia and Complex needs. Helen is very passionate in this area and is focused on delivering Best Practice to clients using a holistic approach to care for them as individuals.
Training and experience
All staff undertake basic and advanced mandatory training required of a domiciliary care provider, and in line with the statutory requirements and Core Induction Standards and the New Care Certificate 15 Standards of Care.
In addition to this other training is provided to all staff and is either a requirement of their contractual obligations or for personal development.
All staff receives a common induction programme alongside shadowing over seven days alongside the completion of the New Care Certificate if they are not Level 2 incorporating the 15 Standards of care when they start and then an induction specific to their job role and responsibility.
This is then signed off by the Registered Manager, and a Nominated Person/ Director.

All of our care and support staff are encouraged and supported to gain qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or the QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) Level 2 Diploma within 12 months of employment with us.
All our staff are thoroughly trained and retrained to ensure they are compliant in areas such as the administration of medication, receive comprehensive training on dementia training and awareness and end of life.
